Currently, Yeongdeungpo District has its first branch at the Workers' Comprehensive Support Center in Dangsan-dong. The first branch was used by approximately 16,930 people this year. It has established itself as a rest area for quick service drivers and delivery workers who lack sufficient places to rest.

The second branch was created through a public-private partnership after signing a business agreement with the Quick Service Association in October. The Singil branch covers about 30 square meters (9 pyeong). It is equipped with amenities such as air conditioning and heating, a refrigerator, a water purifier, mobile phone chargers, and a helmet dryer. Security facilities, including closed-circuit (CC) TV, have also been installed. A shelter assistant is stationed on site to manage the facility.

At the opening ceremony held on December 2, the Quick Service Association donated 2,000 bottles of ion drinks and 1,400 safety items, Korail Retail Gyeongin Headquarters donated 1,000 hot packs, and Together Love Sharing donated 2,500 heated foot packs.

The shelter is open on weekdays from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. However, in December, the second branch will operate only from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Choi Hogwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, stated, "Whether it's during heat waves or cold snaps, I hope you can always stop by the shelter and take a comfortable rest. We will continue to provide various support measures to genuinely improve the working conditions of mobile workers."
