KVWMS Holds 'Human Rights Week' to Promote Human Rights-Friendly Culture Among Veterans' Families and Employees
Campaign "Connecting Human Rights, Sharing Hearts" Held for International Human Rights Day
The Korea Veterans Welfare and Medical Service (Chairman Yoon Jongjin, hereinafter referred to as 'KVWMS') announced on December 10 that, in commemoration of 'International Human Rights Day (December 10),' it has designated the second week of December as 'KVWMS Human Rights Week' and is conducting the campaign "Connecting Human Rights, Sharing Hearts" to raise human rights awareness among veterans' families and employees.

View original imageDuring this 'KVWMS Human Rights Week,' a variety of participatory programs for the public and employees are being held, including: human rights inspections for customers using veterans hospitals and nursing homes; a joint labor-management pledge for practicing human rights management; and an exhibition of award-winning works from the National Human Rights Commission of Korea contest.
In particular, on December 10, International Human Rights Day, a 'Human Rights Commitment Intensive Campaign' was held at the KVWMS headquarters, with participation from employees, labor union representatives, and partner company staff. During the campaign, participants wrote and shared statements on human rights management, taking time to reaffirm the value of respecting human rights.
