Daejeon City Receives Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs "Special Award" in Regional Food Index Evaluation

High Marks in Participation and Performance Category
Daejeon City was the only metropolitan or special city to receive the Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs Special Award in the "2025 Regional Food Index Evaluation."
This evaluation was organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation (aT), and comprehensively reviewed the preparation, implementation, and outcomes of food policies over the past year for 228 local governments nationwide.
Daejeon City received high marks in the "Outstanding Metropolitan Local Government (Urban) for Participation and Performance" category, earning the special award.
