Emart24 Revamps Wine Brand 'Kkomo'... Launches First White Wine
Sauvignon Blanc Introduced for Brand Renewal
Lineup to Expand to 12 Varieties by Next Year
Emart24 announced on December 10 that it will be revamping its wine specialty brand 'Kkomo (COMO)' to coincide with December, the peak season for wine sales.
'Kkomo,' which is exclusively operated by Emart24, has steadily gained popularity since its launch in 2020, with annual sales increasing by more than 10% each year. The company explained that it is pursuing a brand renewal to introduce a lineup with a stronger focus on grape varieties and regions of origin.
Emart24 will introduce a white wine as the first product in the renewed Kkomo lineup, in line with the trend among younger generations of enjoying lighter, lower-alcohol beverages. Starting from the 11th, customers can find 'Kkomo Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc (750ml, 12,900 won)'. This white wine is made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc grapes produced by the renowned New Zealand winery Saint Clair. Beginning with this release, Emart24 plans to sequentially introduce a total of 12 renewed products by next year.
