The Kkebi Securities Christmas Happiness Camp is a program designed to help children at child welfare facilities enjoy a joyful Christmas during the year-end season. It has been running for four consecutive years since 2022. This year, the camp was held at Jion Orphanage in Banghwa-dong, Gangseo-gu, Seoul, over a two-day, one-night period starting from December 5.

KB Securities has traditionally hosted the Christmas Happiness Camp at its training center in Yongin each year, but this year, for the convenience and safety of the children, the company's executives and employees visited the child welfare facility directly to run the program.

On the first day of the camp, a variety of indoor recreational activities and a magic show were held. Notably, KB Securities executives and employees personally delivered Christmas gifts that had been pre-selected based on the children's wishes during the recreation session. On the second day, everyone traveled together to a theme park in Ilsan, Gyeonggi Province, where the children enjoyed the sledding hill and amusement rides.

This year's camp was especially meaningful and safe thanks to the participation of the ChildFund Korea, which was involved from start to finish. Teachers from the child welfare facility and KB Securities employees also served as staff, ensuring the children could spend their time comfortably.

KB Securities is conducting various social contribution initiatives to realize KB Financial Group's core values of "care" and "coexistence," with the goal of strengthening ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management. The company has continued its "Happiness Ddukddak Rural Medical Volunteer Service" for four years to bridge the gap in medical services between urban and rural areas, and since last year, it has provided donations to support pregnant women in crisis who are struggling with childbirth and childcare. In addition, KB Securities is supporting vulnerable young people who cannot access even basic medical services by assisting with overdue health insurance premiums, and has also implemented a program to help small business owners facing management difficulties by supporting the replacement of outdated equipment.

Co-CEOs Kim Sunghyun and Lee Honggu of KB Securities stated, "KB Securities is making continuous efforts to become a company that grows together with the local community through ongoing social contribution activities," adding, "We will continue to care for and not turn away from our marginalized neighbors in need, fulfilling our corporate social responsibilities."
