On December 8, Yongin City in Gyeonggi Province signed a 'Business Agreement for Major Accident Prevention and Safety Culture Expansion' with the Korea Industrial Safety Association at the reception room of City Hall.

View original imageThe Korea Industrial Safety Association is a comprehensive consulting organization that plays a key role in the field of safety management, including safety inspections, certifications, and education. The signing ceremony was attended by Lee Sangil, Mayor of Yongin, Lim Musong, Chairman of the Korea Industrial Safety Association, and other officials.
Through this agreement, the two organizations have decided to promote the following initiatives: ▲ consulting for major accident prevention ▲ support for strengthening safety education and disaster prevention capabilities ▲ support for safety inspections to protect citizens ▲ consulting on construction and facility safety ▲ joint campaigns to spread a safety culture.
The city plans to use this agreement as an opportunity to advance its safety management system and enhance the safety capabilities of public officials and on-site workers, thereby further raising the level of safety that citizens experience.
Chairman Lim stated, "The association will join Yongin on its journey to become a new model of safety that sets an example for other regions."
