The Pre-Sale Market Embraces the Ready Core Trend... Special Supply for "Icheon Jeungpo 5 District Cantavil Edupark" on the 8th
"Ready Core," a New Buzzword from Trend Korea 2026, Refers to the Preference for Prepared Products and Services
As Regulations Tighten in the Pre-sale Market, Completed Complexes with Developed Infrastructure Gain Popularity amid a Trend Toward Stability
A shift in trends is being detected in the pre-sale housing market. As uncertainty in the real estate sector increases, a visible movement among buyers is emerging to seek safer options over uncertain ones. For example, pre-sale complexes that offer completed infrastructure by the time of occupancy are gaining popularity.
One of the hottest topics in the consumer market recently is "Ready Core." According to Trend Korea 2026, "Ready Core" is a compound word of "Ready" and "Core." It refers to a trend in which consumers prefer already completed products or areas to prepare for an uncertain future and unpredictable changes.
The Ready Core phenomenon is also being observed in the real estate market. As the market shifts to focus on actual end-users, demand is concentrating on complexes where residents can immediately benefit from completed infrastructure, rather than relying on simple future blueprints.
In this context, a new pre-sale complex in Jeungpo District, Icheon City, which features fully developed infrastructure, is drawing significant attention from potential buyers.
DW Daewon is currently offering "Icheon Jeungpo 5 District Cantavil Edupark" for sale in A1 Block of Jeungpo 5 District, Icheon City, Gyeonggi Province this December. The complex consists of five buildings, ranging from three basement floors to a maximum of 24 above-ground floors, with exclusive areas of 84 to 118 square meters, totaling 355 units.
The application schedule for the complex begins with special supply on Monday, December 8, followed by first-priority applications on Tuesday, December 9, and second-priority applications on Wednesday, December 10.
The special supply targets a total of 152 units, including 95 units of 84㎡A, 38 units of 84㎡B, 3 units of 102㎡, 9 units of 116㎡, and 7 units of 118㎡.
Special supply is provided for categories such as institutional recommendations, multi-child families, newlyweds, families supporting elderly parents, and first-time homebuyers. Detailed information can be found in the resident recruitment announcement.
To qualify for special supply, applicants must have held a subscription savings account for at least six months, while general supply requires at least twelve months. Applications are possible if the regional and area-specific deposit requirements are met. Residents of Gyeonggi Province, Seoul, and Incheon who are at least 19 years old are eligible to apply.
Both heads of households and household members may apply, and all family members within the same household can apply as well. Multi-homeowners are also eligible to apply as first-priority applicants. There are no restrictions on winning multiple times, and there is no mandatory residency period. The resale restriction period is six months.
"Icheon Jeungpo 5 District Cantavil Edupark" is notable for its location in Jeungpo District, a highly preferred residential area in Icheon City, where residents can enjoy concentrated infrastructure. Emart Icheon, Icheon Terminal, CGV, and Lotte Mart are all within a 10-minute drive. Various public offices, including City Hall, the tax office, and the post office, are also nearby.
The complex also stands out for its superior educational environment within Jeungpo District. With Hannae Elementary School located directly in front of the complex, and Jeungpo Middle School and Ihyeon High School within a five-minute walk, the area offers a one-stop educational zone spanning elementary, middle, and high schools. The Jeungpo-dong academy district is also nearby, providing one of the region's best educational environments.
Convenient wide-area transportation is another advantage. The Jungbu Inland Expressway, Yeongdong Expressway, Second Jungbu Expressway, and National Route 42 make it easy to travel within and outside the region by car. In addition, Isubdaecheon-ro and Gyeongchung-daero near the complex provide easy access to the old downtown area. A bus stop is located directly in front of the complex, making it easy to reach Icheon Station on the Gyeonggang Line.
The complex is also expected to complete a Cantavil brand town of approximately 1,000 units within Jeungpo District. It is the third pre-sale complex following Icheon Jeungpo Daewon Cantavil (occupied in 2019) and Jeungpo District Daewon Cantavil 2nd The Terrace (occupied in 2021). As a follow-up project of the highly preferred and recognized Cantavil brand in Icheon, the product quality has been significantly enhanced.
