On December 5, Samcheok City in Gangwon Province held the 2025 Labor-Management-Government Council meeting at Sol Beach Samcheok to share the 2025 regional labor-management-government revitalization project and to explore plans for establishing an education and training system aimed at creating jobs tailored to the Samcheok model.

View original imageThis meeting was attended by representatives of labor, management, citizens, Samcheok City, the Samcheok City Council, the Ministry of Employment and Labor, and other related organizations. The main agenda items included reviewing the projects planned for 2025, signing the labor-management-government action agreement related to the establishment of the Samcheok-style education and training system, and adopting a joint declaration.
The labor-management-government action agreement signed after the meeting reflected the commitment of various stakeholders to establish an education and training system optimized for customized vocational education that meets the characteristics of local industries, in response to the rapidly changing industrial environment, including the transition to a super-aged society and the risk of population decline.
At the subsequent joint declaration event, all parties unanimously adopted a joint declaration stating their shared commitment to strengthening the capabilities of local talent and creating a bright future and quality jobs for the local community through the spirit of mutual growth and cooperation.
