The donation was designated for four senior welfare centers in Mokpo City, South Jeolla Province, through the Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea. It will be used to provide emergency living support and health management services for elderly individuals living alone who are eligible for integrated care.
This donation was made to strengthen the foundation for integrated community care and expand public-private cooperation in the medical sector in preparation for the Integrated Care Support Act, which is scheduled to take effect in March 2026. Mokpo City expects that its collaboration with the Dental Association will further reinforce the foundation of the community-based integrated care model.
A city official stated, "We deeply appreciate the Dental Association's participation in building the foundation for integrated care for local residents," and added, "We will do our utmost to realize the 'Mokpo-style integrated care' so that seniors and people with disabilities can receive comprehensive medical, nursing, and care services where they live."
