"Vibrant Cookie Run Fandom Ecosystem Drives Success"
Devsisters announced on December 5 that 'Cookie Run: Kingdom' has been selected as one of the top 10 trending topics in the United States in YouTube's '2025 Global Culture & Trend Report.' 'Cookie Run: Kingdom' is a mobile role-playing game (RPG) developed by Studio Kingdom.
YouTube publishes the Global Culture & Trend Report annually, providing a comprehensive analysis of the year's most notable trending topics, top-subscribed creators, and popular music from countries around the world.
This year, the top 10 trending topics on YouTube in the United States were dominated by intellectual properties (IP) based on K-culture, such as 'Squid Game,' 'K-Pop Demon Hunters,' 'Cookie Run: Kingdom,' and 'Cat's Eye.'
Among the games selected alongside 'Cookie Run: Kingdom' is 'Nintendo Switch 2,' a Roblox-based user-generated content (UGC) game. A Devsisters representative stated, "Considering that Roblox and Nintendo Switch 2 are global platforms, 'Cookie Run: Kingdom' made it into the rankings by outperforming numerous games serviced in the United States."

This achievement is attributed to the vibrant fandom ecosystem surrounding the Cookie Run IP. Cookie Run has continued to expand its global fandom base, particularly in the United States, and recently surpassed 300 million cumulative users worldwide. IP revenue has also exceeded 1 billion dollars (approximately 1.5 trillion won). Over the past year, the top revenue-generating countries were the United States, South Korea, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, and Canada, in that order.
