Gochang County Recruiting Participants for Next Year's Senior Job Program Until the 15th

Gochang County in North Jeolla Province is accepting applications for participants in the 2026 Senior Job Program until December 15.
According to the county on December 5, the number of senior job positions to be recruited next year will increase by 233 from this year, reaching a total of 3,974. By type, the positions are divided into: 2,983 for public service activities, 800 for competency-based roles, 148 for community project groups, and 43 for employment support roles.
Applications can be submitted at five designated agencies: Gochang Senior Club, Gochang County branch of the Korean Senior Citizens Association, Gochang County Senior Welfare Center, Gochang Wonkwang Senior Welfare Center, and Gochang County Volunteer Center. Selected seniors will participate in job programs operated by these agencies.
Since eligibility and program details vary by type, applicants should check the county office website for further information. Seniors wishing to participate must visit the respective agency in person to apply.

County Governor Sim Deokseop stated, "The vibrant daily lives of each and every senior are the foundation of our community's strength," adding, "We will actively support seniors next year as well so that many can find fulfillment through employment opportunities."
