Governor Park Wansu and Mayor Na Dongyeon Lead Discussion and Communicate with Citizens
The "2025 Provincial Residents' Win-Win Talk" brought unexpected entertainment, thanks to the candid and lively remarks from Yangsan citizens.
On December 4, Yangsan City held the "2025 Provincial Residents' Win-Win Talk" at the Yangsan Central National Sports Center Gymnasium, presided over by Governor Park Wansu of Gyeongnam Province. Mayor Na Dongyeon of Yangsan City and local citizens joined the event to discuss and communicate about key regional issues.
The "Provincial Residents' Win-Win Talk" is a program where the Governor of Gyeongnam Province visits cities and counties within the province to listen to residents' opinions and reflect them in provincial policies. This was the second such event in Yangsan, following the "Dialogue with Eastern Yangsan Citizens" held on August 5.
With Mayor Na Dongyeon in attendance and Governor Park Wansu presiding, the event was organized to directly gather a wide range of citizen opinions on major local issues. Over 500 people participated, including experts from various fields, local opinion leaders, provincial and city council members, journalists, residents, and relevant departments.

The program opened with a pre-event performance by the Yangsan Children’s Choir "Love Angels." This was followed by presentations on key regional projects and an active Q&A session with attending citizens.
Suggestions for provincial administration included: improvement of access conditions to Hwangsan Park; development of the Jeungsan District urban project; construction of the Southeastern Region Circular Metropolitan Railway; and promotion of the Pusan National University Yangsan Campus Innovation Zone as a leading project.
Suggestions related to residents' livelihoods included: promoting the introduction of the Gyeongnam Provincial Residents’ Pension; hosting the Gyeongnam Youth Festa (Youth Festival) in Yangsan; increasing operating expenses for shelters for abused children; expanding support for rice paddy crop diversification projects; and requests for support in operating safe hospitals and clinics for children.
In addition, issues related to city administration were discussed, such as the Nakdong River tourism development project and the establishment of a water aerodrome, as well as proposals to support neighborhood businesses and small merchants.
Mayor Na Dongyeon stated, "Today's event was made possible thanks to the special consideration of the Governor, who has always provided strong support for the development of Yangsan and the happiness of its citizens. I hope the issues raised today will be actively reflected in provincial policies, leading to regional growth and an improved quality of life for our citizens."
