Gwangju Regional Tax Association Donates 25 Million Won to Hope Sharing Campaign

View original imageOn December 4, the Gwangju Community Chest of Korea (hereafter referred to as Gwangju Sarangui Yeolmae) announced that the Gwangju Regional Tax Association participated in the "Hope 2026 Sharing Campaign" and donated a total of 25 million won.
The donation ceremony, held that morning at the Gwangju Regional Tax Association office in Buk-gu, Gwangju, was attended by Kim Seonghu, President of the Gwangju Regional Tax Association and its executives, Koo Jaegil, President of Gwangju Sarangui Yeolmae, Park Jongsu, Chairman of Bundo & Anna Gaemi Flower Hill, and Kim Hyeongsu, Director of the Gwangju Welfare Center for the Visually Impaired.
This donation was made possible by 24 tax accountants from the Gwangju Regional Tax Association, each contributing 1 million won by participating in the "Our Neighborhood Sharing Hero, Sharing Leader" campaign organized by Gwangju Sarangui Yeolmae.
The tax accountants who participated as Sharing Leaders are: Kim Seonghu, Lee Gwangyeong, Yoon Gyeongdo, Yoo Gwongyu, Yoon Jeongdu, Mo Hyeongjung, Park Daeyong, Shin Dongchun, Lim Taei, Park Seoyeong, Ko Homun, Cho Yeongil, Choi Hyeonno, Park Gwangyeol, Seo Yeongcheol, Park Wooyoung, Kim Jonggeol, Ko Daeyeong, Yoo Sanguk, Kim Youngsin, Kim Myeongha, Kim Suyeong, Choi Sira, and Kim Minho, totaling 24 members.
The donation will be distributed by Gwangju Sarangui Yeolmae to three organizations: 10 million won to the Gwangju Association of the Visually Impaired, 10 million won to Bundo & Anna Gaemi Flower Hill, and 5 million won to the Gwangju-Jeonnam branch of the Korean Red Cross.
Kim Seonghu, President of the Gwangju Regional Tax Association, stated, "Growing together with the local community and sharing in our neighbors' hardships is a social responsibility of tax accountants. We will continue to practice the 'One Tax Accountant, One Sharing Movement' currently being promoted by the Gwangju Regional Tax Association to contribute to our community."
