Gapyeong County Conducts Resident Survey for 2026 Population Decline Response Implementation Plan
Living Conditions, Birth, and Migration Intentions
Online Survey Open Until January 2 Next Year
Gapyeong County in Gyeonggi Province announced on December 4 that it will conduct a survey for the "2026 Population Decline Area Response Implementation Plan" from December 3 of this year to January 2 of next year, in order to address the decline in the local population and to develop effective policies.
The purpose of this survey is to establish a participatory policy framework that reflects residents' opinions from the policy development stage by identifying residents' awareness of population decline, intentions to migrate, birth and childcare environments, living conditions, and demands for improvement.
The survey will be conducted online, and residents can participate through the "Survey" page under the "Participation" section on the Gapyeong County website. All responses will be strictly protected under Article 33 of the Statistics Act, and the results will be used to set future directions for population policy.
