Applications open until December 10
14 finalists to be selected
Namwon City in North Jeolla Province has announced a recruitment notice for young entrepreneurs as part of the "Gwanghallu Garden Central Commercial District Revitalization Hub Center Activation Project," seeking aspiring young business owners both from within and outside the region.
According to the city on December 4, the application period runs until 6 p.m. on December 10. Approximately 60 individuals will be selected in the first round of document screening, with around 14 finalists to be chosen.
This project aims to systematically foster a youth commercial district near Gwanghallu Garden and invigorate the local economy. It goes beyond simple support for store leases by offering a comprehensive startup incubation program, including education, consulting, store preparation, and facility support in a step-by-step manner.
The program is open to young people aged 19 to 45 as of the announcement date, not only residents of Namwon City but also those from other regions who wish to start a business in Namwon and are committed to settling there.
Applicants may freely propose business ideas in fields such as food service, goods sales, and more. The city anticipates active participation from young people with creative ideas that reflect the unique characteristics of Namwon.
