Dongwha Enterprise Partners with Yeongyang County, Gyeongbuk to Recycle Wildfire-Damaged Timber
Transforming Wildfire-Damaged Trees into High Value-Added Wood Products
Dongwha Enterprise announced on the 4th that it has signed a business agreement with Yeongyang County in Gyeongsangbuk-do to recycle trees damaged by wildfires into wood products.
Through this agreement, the two parties will reproduce the wildfire-damaged trees into high value-added wood products such as particle board (PB) and medium-density fiberboard (MDF), thereby increasing the self-sufficiency rate of domestic timber and contributing to the recovery and economic revitalization of wildfire-affected areas.

Dongwha Enterprise plans to reprocess these into wood-based panel materials, contributing to resource circulation.
Although wildfire-damaged trees may show charring on the surface, there are no issues with internal quality, so they can be sufficiently used as interior and exterior construction materials.
