The police are currently investigating the case in which Ms. A accused Assemblyman Jang of sexual harassment at a restaurant in Yeouido, Seoul, during last year’s National Assembly audit period. It is reported that Assemblyman Jang attended a dinner gathering with staff members from a lawmaker’s office at the time.
Assemblyman Jang has strongly denied the quasi-forcible molestation charges stated in the complaint. On December 2, he filed separate complaints against Ms. A for false accusation, and against Mr. B, who was Ms. A’s boyfriend, for both false accusation and assault.
The police plan to summon other individuals who were present at the gathering soon to investigate the facts of the case.
