The Eastern Gyeongnam Regional Safety Culture Promotion Group (headed by Kwon Guhyung, Director of the Yangsan Branch of the Ministry of Employment and Labor) held its 4th quarter regular meeting at the Gimhae I Square Hotel on December 3 and reviewed its achievements for 2025.

View original imageThe meeting was attended by 42 representatives from 17 organizations in the Gimhae, Miryang, and Yangsan areas. Participants shared outstanding examples of safety culture activities from each organization and reflected on the results of efforts to spread a culture of safety in the region.
This year, the Promotion Group carried out various activities, including spreading disaster prevention messages tailored to vulnerable periods through a relay campaign at industrial complexes, and operating safety awareness programs for local residents and foreign workers using VR experience booths at regional festivals. These efforts have been credited with helping to spread a culture of safety and raise awareness of industrial accident prevention in the local community.
