Hamyang County Launches Open Participatory Voting "Policy Empathy Event"
Diverse Opinions on County Administration
Open Participation for All Interested
Hamyang County in South Gyeongsang Province announced on December 3 that it will hold the "Hamyang County Policy Empathy Event" to gather a wide range of opinions on county administration and strengthen communication by focusing on policies that residents have actually experienced.
This event is an online-based participatory initiative, making it easy for anyone interested to take part.
Participation in the event is simple. Participants can select the policy they most empathize with in each of four areas: culture·sports·tourism, children·youth·young adults, senior welfare, and agriculture. Voting is conducted by scanning the QR code included in the promotional material, which links to a Naver Form where participants can select their choices without any complicated procedures.
The voting period runs from December 1 to December 19, and a variety of prizes have been prepared to encourage participation. Among all participants, 100 people will receive coffee gifticons. Additionally, among those who select the most popular policy in each category, 10 will be randomly chosen to receive a chicken voucher, and another 10 will receive a 10,000-won Olive Young gift card, for a total of 20 prize winners.
A county official stated, "We hope for great interest and participation, as this is an opportunity for anyone to easily share their thoughts on policy. Your choices will play a significant role in enriching the future direction of county administration."
