Settlement Subsidy and Up to 500 Million Won in Nurturing Funds Provided
Goseong County in Gangwon Province (Governor Ham Myungjun) is recruiting applicants for the "2026 Young Farmer (Young Entrepreneurial Successor Farmer) Agricultural Settlement Support Project" to help young farmers establish a stable foundation for farming.

View original imageThis support program targets individuals who will be between the ages of 18 and 39 as of 2026 (born between January 1, 1985, and December 31, 2008). Applicants must either be planning to start independent farm management or have been independently managing a farm in Goseong County for three years or less. However, those planning to start independent management must transfer their resident registration to Goseong County before applying for the support funds.
The agricultural settlement subsidy will be provided according to the years of independent management: 1.1 million won per month in the first year, 1 million won per month in the second year, and 900,000 won per month in the third year. Applications must be submitted online through the Agricultural Project Information System website by December 11.
In addition, those interested can also receive nurturing funds for successor farmers. Loans are available at a fixed annual interest rate of 1.5%, up to a maximum of 500 million won per household, with a five-year grace period followed by equal principal repayments over 20 years.
