China Streamlines Rare Earth Magnet Export Procedures... "Supply Expected to Expand"
Chinese Rare Earth Companies Expected to Accelerate Export Shipments
It has been revealed that China has streamlined the export permit procedures for rare earth permanent magnets and related products.
According to major foreign media outlets on December 2, JL MAG, a rare earth permanent magnet manufacturer, has obtained export permits for all of its customers. Ningbo Yunsheng and Beijing Zhongke Sanhuan Hi-Tech have also received export permits for some of their customers.
All three companies supply related products to the automotive industries in Europe or the Americas. This measure is expected to accelerate export shipments.
At the end of October, during a summit held in Busan, U.S. President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping agreed to postpone the implementation of stricter controls on rare earth exports. Additionally, China decided to introduce new streamlined procedures for rare earth exports.
