Woonsik Lee, Dean of Pukyong National University, Receives 30th Anniversary Venture Contribution Award
Woonsik Lee, Dean of the Graduate School of Technology Management at Pukyong National University, received the "30th Anniversary Venture Contribution Award" at the 2025 Venture Day event.
Dean Lee was honored at the event held on November 27 at the Grand Moment Youth Hostel, organized by the Busan Metropolitan Government, Busan Regional Office of SMEs and Startups, and Busan Venture Business Association, in recognition of his contributions to establishing and advancing the venture ecosystem in celebration of the 30th anniversary of Korea's venture industry.
Since 2020, the Graduate School of Technology Management at Pukyong National University has formed a consortium agreement with the Busan Venture Business Association. Many practitioners from member companies have enrolled in the graduate school, working together to resolve technological challenges faced by local venture businesses and to strengthen industry-academic cooperation in the Busan area.
Dean Lee emphasized, "Pukyong National University will continue to serve as a bridge to support the development of venture businesses by leveraging its educational and research expertise."
