Pocheon City Distributes Pouri Emoticons to Celebrate First Anniversary of Character's Launch
Pocheon City in Gyeonggi Province will distribute emoticons featuring its official character 'Pouri' to the first 35,000 KakaoTalk channel subscribers on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 2 p.m. on December 3.
Pouri (a combination of 'Pocheon' and 'Uri,' meaning 'our') is a character that embodies the values of "a community where people want to live and stay" and "Pocheon moving forward together with its citizens." Since its release in 2024, Pouri has become the mascot of Pocheon City and has been widely loved.
The Pouri emoticon set being distributed this time consists of 16 types of limited-use emoticons valid for 30 days, created to celebrate the first anniversary of the character's launch. The emoticons feature a variety of expressions and actions, making them easy and friendly to use in everyday life.
The emoticons will be available to both existing and new subscribers of the Pocheon City KakaoTalk channel and can be downloaded on a first-come, first-served basis through a notification message. To subscribe to the Pocheon City Hall KakaoTalk channel, tap the magnifying glass (search bar) at the top of the KakaoTalk app, search for 'Pocheon City Hall,' and add the channel.
