Burger King Revamps Membership Program... Introduces New Top-Tier "Crown" Level

Burger King announced on December 1 that it will completely revamp its membership program. The main changes are aimed at increasing customer satisfaction with benefits, including the introduction of a new top-tier membership level called "CROWN" and the implementation of a personalized coupon system.
The newly established "CROWN" tier is a higher-level membership than the existing "KING" tier. After the revamp, the membership program will consist of five tiers: Crown, King, Whopper, Junior, and Welcome. The Crown tier will be granted to customers who spend at least 150,000 won within the most recent three months.
With this revamp, members can now accumulate "Flame" membership points not only through purchase amounts, but also by engaging in various activities such as daily app check-ins, completing missions to earn badges, and inviting friends. The program incorporates game-like elements, allowing customers to actively participate and enjoy new experiences beyond simply placing orders through the app.
New Crown members will receive a free Quattro Cheese Whopper set coupon, as well as three "My Pick Discount Coupons" and three "My Pick Beverage Coupons" every month. The newly introduced "My Pick" coupons differ from the previous uniform issuance method, allowing customers to select and customize the benefits they want. For example, customers who frequently make high-value purchases or bulk orders can choose a "2,000 won discount on purchases over 10,000 won" coupon, while those who mainly order single burgers or snack menu items can select a "500 won discount on purchases over 5,000 won" coupon. For beverages, customers can freely choose between coffee and soft drinks according to their preferences.
