A special autumn story of those who came to Yeongdeok in search of their 'blue dreams' and began the second act of their lives.

On November 26, Yeongdeok County in North Gyeongsang Province held the '2025 Yeongdeok County Returning Farmers and Rural Residents Gathering Festival' to help newcomers settle stably and promote harmony with local residents.

This event was organized to help returning farmers and rural residents who have relocated to the area take root in the local community, foster mutual understanding with existing residents, and create a culture of coexistence.

The festival included an awards ceremony for outstanding members, a sports competition, team-building activities, and talent shows, offering programs that allowed returning farmers and rural residents to communicate with one another and bond with local residents.

A Yeongdeok County official said, "Through this Gathering Festival, returning farmers and rural residents had a meaningful opportunity to exchange information about life in Yeongdeok and to bridge the emotional gap with local residents. Yeongdeok County sees the influx of returning farmers and rural residents as a key driver for regional revitalization, and we plan to continuously expand practical support measures such as tailored education and settlement support programs."
