Director Kim gave detailed explanations on post-surgery pain management, proper movement and rehabilitation exercises, and long-term care methods, while thoroughly checking each patient’s current recovery status.
The participants freely asked a variety of questions about daily life management after surgery, exercise routines, and changes in pain that they had been curious about. Director Kim responded with personalized answers tailored to each patient’s condition and recovery speed, which was well received.
Director Kim Kyungjun explained the causes of common spinal disorders such as spinal stenosis and herniated discs, stating, “Spinal surgery is an important treatment to reduce pain and return to daily life, but post-surgery management can have an even greater impact on recovery. We will continue to provide detailed education and ongoing communication so that patients can maintain healthy spinal function for a long time.”
One patient who attended the meeting said, “For years, I was in so much pain that even walking was difficult, but after surgery, the pain has greatly decreased and my body feels much lighter. I am truly grateful that the hospital continues to care for us throughout the entire recovery process, not just during consultations.”
Degenerative spinal diseases are common among the elderly and, in severe cases, can make walking difficult due to leg numbness and back pain.
