The Pinkfong Company announced on the 27th that it will present a new original musical, "Bebefinn Musical: Exciting New Friends," based on "Bebefinn," at the Yonsei University Centennial Hall Concert Hall from December 19 to January 4 next year.
Bebefinn is a globally successful intellectual property (IP) that became the first Korean animation to rank No. 1 in the Netflix Kids category in eleven countries and enter the Top 10 in twenty-five countries. The first musical, "Bebefinn Musical: Family Mayhem," released last year, attracted a cumulative audience of 130,000 through a 37-show tour across twenty-nine cities nationwide.
This new production, co-produced with Adcan, tells the story of a welcome party that unfolds when Minji, a new neighbor, moves into the village where the Bebefinn family lives. It captures the awkward greetings and unfamiliar emotions of meeting a friend for the first time, as well as the process of building friendships together.
