Cultural Heritage Administration Invites Applications for 2026 Internship Host Organizations
Applications Open from November 26 to December 10
Monthly Wage Subsidy of 2,157,000 Won Provided
The Cultural Heritage Administration and the National Heritage Promotion Agency announced on November 26 that they will begin accepting applications from organizations wishing to host the National Heritage Industry Internship Program for the coming year.
The National Heritage Industry Internship Program is a support initiative that offers young people aspiring to work in the national heritage industry the opportunity to gain practical work experience. It also provides participating organizations with a chance to innovate and achieve mutual growth by utilizing young talent. Since its launch in 2022, a total of 245 organizations have participated. Last year, the program received an excellent rating in the Ministry of Employment and Labor's "Direct Job Creation Projects with Financial Support" evaluation.
Eligible applicants are organizations (including groups or companies) engaged in the national heritage industry. Selected organizations will receive support for up to two interns, including personnel matched and assigned by the National Heritage Promotion Agency, as well as wage subsidies of 2,157,000 won per month, for a six-month period from March to August 2026.
Selected organizations must directly employ the matched interns on a full-time basis (40 hours per week). They are required to register the interns as workplace subscribers to the four major social insurances and to record and manage the interns’ attendance and subsidies through the government’s Integrated Job Project Information System.
