She went on to say, "You have all witnessed and experienced this yourselves. I believe one of the reasons Americans chose to re-elect the president is his candor and his willingness to call out fake news when he sees it." She added, "He gets angry when people lie about him and spread fake news about him and his administration."
Leavitt also claimed, "But he is also the most transparent president in history." She continued, "He gives everyone in this room unprecedented access. You get to ask the president questions in the Oval Office almost every day."
This is not the first time Leavitt's remarks have become the subject of public debate. In particular, on October 17, HuffPost reporter S.V. Date asked about the Trump-Putin summit meeting and questioned, "Who decided on Budapest, Hungary as the meeting location?" QuestionBudapest was where the 1994 Budapest Memorandum was signed, in which Ukraine gave up thousands of nuclear weapons inherited from the Soviet Union in exchange for a territorial integrity guarantee from Russia. When Russia invaded Ukraine in 2022, this promise was broken, so when the U.S.-Russia summit was again set for Budapest, the HuffPost reporter raised questions. Leavitt replied, "Your mom did" Your mom did'Your mom' is American slang often considered an offensive or mocking expression.. After the story was published, Leavitt even posted about it on social media, encouraging her supporters to cheer her on.
Date replied to the "your mom" answer, asking, "Do you think this is funny?" Leavitt responded, "What’s funny is that you consider yourself a journalist. You’re just another far-left hack-no one takes you seriously. People simply don’t say that to your face. So stop sending hypocritical and biased bullshit questions."

When a YouTuber called out to Leavitt, "Hello, I love Trump," she smiled and replied, "We love Trump, too."
That night, she posted a photo on her Instagram, apparently showing Korean cosmetics she bought at Olive Young on Hwangridan-gil. She later shared her cosmetic review with Korean media. When asked about the appeal of Korea and Korean cosmetics, she raved, "My skin has never looked this good since I started using Korean beauty products." She added, "I loved Korea and the Korean people," and said, "I definitely want to visit again someday in the future."
Sometimes polarizing for her blunt speech and strong conservative stance, Leavitt is a star of the MAGAMake America Great Again, a slogan meaning 'Make America Great Again' movement. Her enthusiasm for Korean products and culture shows a side of the global Millennials & Gen Z generation.

On a New York Post podcast, she said that her husband is even older than her mother, admitting, "It was certainly a difficult conversation at first, and my family had a hard time accepting the age difference," but added, "Now everyone gets along and enjoys spending time together."
She also admitted, "It’s definitely unusual," and explained that she first met Ricio through a mutual acquaintance in 2022 when she was running for State Representative in New Hampshire. Asked if she hadn’t found anyone her own age as mature as he is, she replied, "Honestly, that's true," but went on, "He's really incredible. He has built his own career and is a self-made man whom I respect." She added, "Unlike me, he’s very introverted, doesn’t use social media, and prefers a quiet life."
"I know my husband and baby want to spend time with me and play with their toys together.
If that weren’t the case, I’d probably go home at night and care a lot more about what people or the media say-but I simply don’t have the time."
