View original imageOn November 25, KB Kookmin Bank signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with GS Retail for "Customer Experience Innovation That Adds Value to Everyday Life."
The signing ceremony, held at the new building of KB Kookmin Bank in Yeouido, Seoul, was attended by Heo Seohong, CEO of GS Retail, Lee Hwanju, President of KB Kookmin Bank, and other officials. This MOU was established to provide customers with new experiences that go beyond each company's respective fields of distribution and finance, based on mutual cooperation.
Through this agreement, the two companies plan to develop sustainable collaboration models in various areas, including the launch of a co-branded bank account, the introduction of a GS Retail mobile plan, expanded productive financial support for franchisees and partners, and the advancement of the GS Pay service.
In particular, the GS Retail co-branded bank account is expected to be launched as early as within this year. In addition to parking interest rate benefits, customers will receive GS25 product exchange coupons based on their GS Pay payment performance. The companies also plan to introduce a GS Retail co-branded mobile plan that combines distribution, telecommunications, and finance, along with various other services.
