Yangpyeong County Successfully Concludes 10th Yangpyeong Tourism Photo Contest
Yangpyeong County in Gyeonggi Province (Governor Jeon Jinseon) held the award ceremony for the "10th Yangpyeong Tourism Photo Contest" on November 24 in the lobby of Yangpyeong County Office, under the theme "Yangpyeong, Moments Become Art."

View original imageThe Yangpyeong Tourism Photo Contest has been held biennially since 2007, marking its 10th edition this year.
The contest plays a significant role in widely promoting the value of local tourism resources through works capturing the nature and daily life of Yangpyeong.
This year's contest was open to the entire nation from September 15 to October 28, and received a strong response, with a total of 953 entries submitted online via the contest's dedicated website.
After the first round of online judging by a panel of professors and photographers, a public review, and a second round of offline judging, a total of 39 winning works were ultimately selected.
At the award ceremony, a total of 7.2 million won in prize money and plaques and certificates were presented, including the Grand Prize (1 million won), Gold Prize (700,000 won), two Silver Prizes (500,000 won each), five Bronze Prizes (300,000 won each), and 30 Honorable Mentions (100,000 won each).
