Gochang County to Host "Uzbekistan National Symphony Orchestra" Concert on the 27th

Gochang County, North Jeolla Province, announced on November 25 that the "Uzbekistan National Symphony Orchestra Korea Tour" will be held at the Gochang Culture and Arts Center at 7:30 p.m. on November 27.
The Uzbekistan National Symphony Orchestra was established at the suggestion of the President of Uzbekistan and is composed of the nation's top young musical prodigies who have won prizes at international competitions.

View original imageThe orchestra has been recognized as the leading symphony orchestra in Central Asia, having successfully completed tours in major European cities such as Berlin and Vienna, as well as a performance in Washington, D.C.
The first part of the concert will be conducted and narrated by Kang Minseok, a professor at Hanyang University. Professor Kang, renowned for collaborating with major orchestras at home and abroad and for leading the global promotion of Pansori and Arirang, will engage the audience with commentary that provides insight into the background and emotional depth of each piece.
The second part will be conducted by Kamolidin Urinbaev, President of the Uzbekistan State Conservatory and the country's highest-ranking Merited Artist, who will deliver the profound essence of traditional classical music to the Gochang audience.
Additionally, tenor Otabek Najirov and soprano Kim Eunhye will perform Puccini arias and a variety of solo pieces, further elevating the quality of the concert.

Tickets are priced at 10,000 won, with a special discount for Gochang residents at 3,000 won (1,500 won for youth). Ticket reservations open at 9 a.m. on November 20. Online reservations are available through the Gochang Culture and Arts Center website, and on-site purchases can be made at the venue.
