Sami Valimaki of Finland secured victory with a spectacular performance on the greens.

On November 23 (local time), at the Seaside Course (par 70, 7,005 yards) of Sea Island Golf Club in St. Simons Island, Georgia, USA, he won the RSM Classic-the final event of the 2025 PGA Tour Fall Series, with a total prize fund of 7 million dollars-by a single stroke. After joining the PGA Tour in 2024, he claimed his first trophy in his 54th tournament.

Valimaki, who had already recorded two wins on the DP World Tour, became the first Finnish player ever to win a PGA Tour event. The winner's prize for this tournament is 1.26 million dollars (approximately 1.86 billion won). Valimaki faced his greatest challenge at the 16th hole (par 4), where he was leading by one shot. His second shot landed on the right fringe, and his approach shot around the green was not precise, leaving him with a par putt from about 5.7 meters.

Demonstrating his exceptional putting skills, Valimaki made the par save. After maintaining his one-shot lead, he did not drop a stroke over the final two holes, securing his first career victory. He celebrated his win using the Odyssey White Hot OG 2-Ball putter. This putter, used by Valimaki, boasts the highest usage rate and most victories on tours worldwide. It is renowned for its distinctive design, as well as its excellent feel and sound at impact.
