Korea Ready-Mixed Concrete Federation and Japan Join Hands for Industry Development
Commitment to Sharing Ready-Mixed Concrete Manufacturing and Quality Control Technologies
The Korea Ready-Mixed Concrete Industrial Cooperative Federation and the Japan National Ready-Mixed Concrete Industrial Association announced on the 24th that they have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for the development of the ready-mixed concrete industry in both countries.

View original imageThe signing ceremony, held at the Daiichi Hotel in Tokyo, Japan, was attended by Bae Joongwoong, Chairman of the Korea Ready-Mixed Concrete Industrial Cooperative Federation, along with a 10-member Korean delegation, as well as Japanese opinion leaders including Chairman Shoichi Saito.
This agreement was signed in recognition of the shared understanding that the ready-mixed concrete industry is facing its greatest crisis due to the downturn in the construction sector, and to promote cooperation between the two countries in securing competitiveness and building a sustainable ecosystem for the industry.
Going forward, both sides plan to collaborate on: ▲ sharing technical information on ready-mixed concrete manufacturing and quality control ▲ joint research on eco-friendly technologies ▲ development of and response to carbon-neutral and eco-friendly products ▲ sharing trends in industry-related laws, systems, and policies ▲ jointly hosting education sessions, seminars, and technology forums, as well as personnel exchanges ▲ and mutual visits and exchanges to advance the ready-mixed concrete industries of both countries.
Chairman Bae Joongwoong stated, "This MOU will serve as a new starting point for the sustainability and technological innovation of the ready-mixed concrete industries in both countries. I sincerely hope that today's agreement will lead to innovation and tangible results tomorrow, and that our joint efforts will become an opportunity for a new leap forward for the ready-mixed concrete industries of Korea and Japan."
