Jeonju City Recruiting Participants for Next Year's Employment Project for Persons with Disabilities

Jeonju City in North Jeolla Province is recruiting 425 participants for the 2026 Employment Project for Persons with Disabilities through local community centers and designated agencies until November 28.
According to the city on November 24, this recruitment drive aims to provide hopeful job opportunities in the new year, supporting the social participation and economic independence of persons with disabilities.
This marks an increase from the 408 participants recruited this year, and the city plans to offer more employment opportunities to persons with disabilities.
By category, the positions include: 121 general jobs (81 full-time, 40 part-time), 264 welfare jobs, and 40 specialized jobs (15 for dispatching visually impaired massage therapists and 25 for assistant care worker positions for individuals with developmental disabilities).
Eligible applicants are unemployed persons with disabilities, aged 18 or older, registered under the Act on Welfare of Persons with Disabilities and residing in Jeonju. Final candidates will work for one year from January to December next year.
Applicants for general positions should apply at their local community center by November 28. Once selected, they will support public and welfare administration work at city hall, Wansan and Deokjin district offices, community centers, organizations for persons with disabilities, and social enterprises.
For welfare and specialized positions, recruitment is conducted separately by designated agencies (Jeonbuk Welfare Center for Persons with Disabilities, Jeonbuk Association for the Physically Disabled, Jeonju Comprehensive Welfare Center for Persons with Disabilities, Pyeonghwa Social Welfare Center, and Neurugeoleum Social Cooperative). Participants will be assigned to suitable positions at welfare facilities or organizations according to each job type.
