Yangju City in Gyeonggi Province will hold the "2025 Yangju City Single-Person Household Support Policy Idea Contest" to develop policies that reflect the diverse needs of the growing number of single-person households.

View original imageThe purpose of this contest is to discover highly effective, practical policies through citizen participation, and anyone interested in policy-including Yangju residents-can take part.
According to the city, the contest is seeking innovative policy ideas in key areas of interest for single-person households: housing and safety, prevention of isolation and solitary deaths, support for daily convenience, revitalization of local communities, and other measures to improve quality of life.
The submission period runs until November 30. For more details, please refer to the notice board on the Yangju City website. To apply, download the required documents from the notice board and submit them via email.
Submitted ideas will be evaluated based on feasibility, effectiveness, creativity, and thematic relevance. A total of six winners will be selected: one Grand Prize, two Excellence Prizes, and three Encouragement Prizes. Outstanding proposals will be incorporated into future Yangju City single-person household policy initiatives.
