Kyungbok University Earns Recognition for SQF-Based University Curriculum
Kyungbok University has obtained recognition for its university curriculum based on the Sectoral Qualifications Framework (SQF).
On November 24, Kyungbok University announced that the Department of Video Media Contents was recognized for its SQF-based university curriculum in the field of virtual convergence industries, specifically for the role of "Extended Reality Graphic Design." This recognition was awarded by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Human Resources Development Service of Korea at the "2025 SQF-Based University Curriculum Certificate Award Ceremony" held at the Seoul Garden Hotel on November 21.
The SQF is a system that structures the competencies required to perform standard occupational roles demanded in the industry, ensuring that education, training, degrees, qualifications, and work experience are organically linked. SQF recognition is an official government certification that the curriculum meets the occupational competency standards required by industry.
