View original imageThe 2025 Korea Job Awards is an award presented to organizations that have implemented outstanding policies or showcased exemplary cases for the creation of quality jobs, in connection with this year's 2025 Regional Economic Innovation Expo.
This year's awards targeted 89 local governments and public institutions. After a preliminary document review, exhibition content evaluation, and a comprehensive assessment, 13 organizations (7 local governments and 6 public institutions) were selected as award recipients.
In particular, Goyang Special City was recognized for its excellent job creation policies unique to the city, such as the Naeil Dream Factory, the Goyang Youth Job Future Package Project, and the Goyang Customized Job School. The city also received high marks for its future industry and corporate support initiatives, including Goyang Ilsan Techno Valley and the broadcasting and video industry. As a result, the city achieved the distinction of winning the ministerial award for three consecutive years.
Additionally, the city has continued to build its reputation as an outstanding institution in the field of job creation by winning the Grand Prize (Prime Minister's Award) at the Korea Local Government Management Awards and the Excellence Award (Minister of Employment and Labor Award) at the National Local Government Job Awards this year.
