The Export-Import Bank of Korea announced on November 23 that it co-hosted the "2025 Korea Peninsula Climate and Environmental Cooperation Forum" at the Korea Press Center in Jung-gu, Seoul, together with the Ministry of Unification and the Ministry of Climate, Energy and Environment.
This forum was organized to discuss concrete policy ideas for mutually beneficial inter-Korean exchanges and cooperation for peace and coexistence on the Korean Peninsula, as well as measures to restore inter-Korean exchange and cooperation through joint responses to climate change.
In August, the government presented the "Five-Year National Administration Plan - 23 Key Initiatives," which includes "A Korean Peninsula of Peace, Coexistence, and Prosperity." The forum held on this day included discussions on climate and environmental cooperation as part of concrete implementation measures.
