Through this agreement, the two organizations plan to continuously cooperate in various areas, including expanding stays and consumption in Taebaek City, revitalizing the region, and strengthening job creation and collaboration among labor, management, government, and the local community.
The Ministry of Employment and Labor will broaden exchanges with Taebaek City by holding institutional events, encouraging staff visits during vacation seasons, purchasing local agricultural and specialty products, and participating in the Hometown Love Donation program. Taebaek City will actively provide information on tourism, accommodation, and local specialties to further solidify the foundation for mutual growth.
The signing ceremony was attended by Sangho Lee, Mayor of Taebaek City, five city officials, Kangwon Regional Employment and Labor Office Director Sangyong Kim, and six officials from the Ministry of Employment and Labor, who exchanged a variety of opinions on future cooperation measures.
