Changnyeong County Operates Public Museums Together with Residents
Various Programs Including the "Traditional Woodblock Carving Class"

Changnyeong County in South Gyeongsang Province is offering a variety of programs, including educational sessions, field trips, and hands-on experiences, for all age groups from children to adults at its public museums (Changnyeong Museum, Changnyeong Bibongni Shell Mound Exhibition Hall, and Park Jin War Memorial Hall) from November to December.
The "Museum Together" program, hosted by the Bibongni Shell Mound Exhibition Hall and the Park Jin War Memorial Hall, will be held a total of six times from November 22 to December 7. In addition to museum experiential learning, participants will visit nearby historical sites and memorial facilities. Participation is free of charge.

View original imageAdditionally, for adults who wish to enjoy cultural activities during their busy weekly routines, Changnyeong Museum is running the "Traditional Woodblock Carving Class" every Thursday for five weeks from November 13 to December 11. In this program, participants engrave letters or drawings onto woodblocks, creating works of artistic value.
An official from the county stated, "Changnyeong County's public museums aim to provide diverse opportunities for all residents to enjoy culture," and added, "We hope for active interest and participation from residents in the educational, field trip, and hands-on programs."
