A Festival for Mutual Growth of the Local Economy
The "2025 Ulsan Small Business Festa," expected to be a welcome boost for the stagnant local economy, is set to begin.
The "Ulsan Small Business Festa," a festival aimed at expanding sales channels for small businesses in Ulsan and revitalizing the local economy, will take place on the 22nd at the Hyundai Plaza of Hyundai Department Store in Dong-gu.
This event has been organized to invigorate the sluggish local commercial districts and strengthen the brand competitiveness of Ulsan’s small business owners.
By enhancing citizen participation programs, the festival will be held as a field-oriented event to inject energy into the local economy.
The event will run from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., featuring pre-events, an opening ceremony, and various side events.
The pre-events, starting at 3:00 p.m., will include booths where local small business owners directly sell their products, food stalls, and hands-on experience programs. There will also be a variety of celebratory performances featuring local artists.
At the opening ceremony, which begins at 4:00 p.m., more than 1,000 people-including Ulsan Mayor Kim Dookyum, local small business owners, and citizens-will attend. Official events such as congratulatory speeches and awards for outstanding small business owners will be held to recognize their efforts.
This year’s festival will feature a total of 45 diverse booths, including 25 sales and experience booths, 8 food booths, and 12 information booths operated by the Small Business Association. Visitors will be able to explore excellent products and unique content from Ulsan’s small businesses all in one place.
Visitors can actively discover and support outstanding products from small business owners through various experiences, tastings, and purchases, which is expected to bring tangible sales momentum to the local commercial districts.
