Shinhan Card Wins Arts Management Award Organized by Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism
"First General Company to Be Selected as an Outstanding Case"
Shinhan Card announced on the 21st that it was selected as an outstanding case at the "2025 Arts Management Awards," jointly organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Arts Management Support Center, and received the Representative Award from the Arts Management Support Center.
The Arts Management Awards were established to discover and promote innovative management cases that contribute to the development of the arts industry. Shinhan Card became the first general corporation to be honored with this selection.
Shinhan Card has contributed to revitalizing the cultural and arts ecosystem by hosting "The Preview Art Fair." As the first art fair organized by a financial institution, Shinhan Card has consistently held the event for five years, creating a foundation for emerging galleries and artists to enter the art market. Over the past five years, a total of 240 galleries have participated, with approximately 5.8 billion won worth of artworks sold. Debut artists have also achieved success by advancing to international art fairs such as KIAF and Frieze Seoul. During the exhibition period, Shinhan Card was responsible for marketing and publicity, allowing participants to focus on their creative work.
The "Little Picasso Drawing Festival," now in its 24th year, is also a signature family cultural event for Shinhan Card. It provides children with opportunities to nurture their dreams and imagination through art, while also discovering talented young artists. Since its inception in 2002, the cumulative number of participants has reached about 200,000. Shinhan Card continues to present new cultural experiences to future generations by reflecting changing trends each year, including non-face-to-face drawing contests, NFT-based digital experiences, eco-friendly goods production, and artificial intelligence (AI) contests.
In addition, Shinhan Card has established sponsorships with venues such as Blue Square Shinhan Card Hall, Shinhan Card SOL Pay Square Live Hall, and Sohyang Theater Shinhan Card Hall in Busan, operating "The Moment" events and offering 1+1 or discount benefits for a variety of performances, including musicals, concerts, and exhibitions.
