Coupang Eats Signs MOU with Jeonju City to Strengthen Delivery Partner Safety
Cooperation to Promote a Culture of Safe Driving
Free Motorcycle Safety Inspections and Consumable Replacements
Coupang Eats Service (CES) announced on November 20 that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Jeonju City to create a safer delivery environment for delivery partners.
Through this agreement, CES and Jeonju City in North Jeolla Province will promote a variety of initiatives to establish a culture of safe driving among delivery partners. First, they will continue to expand free motorcycle safety inspections and consumable replacement events to support safe driving for delivery partners. In addition, they plan to carry out activities such as education, campaigns, and providing supplies to rest areas.

CES is expanding these highly effective support measures nationwide, and by the end of this year, a cumulative total of about 5,000 delivery partners are expected to benefit. To prevent seasonal safety accidents during extreme heat and cold, CES is sequentially conducting free safety inspections in major cities across the country, including Seoul, Gyeonggi, Incheon, Cheongju, Daegu, and Changwon.
