Company A Owes 330 Million, Mr. B Owes 320 Million... Ansan City Discloses Names of Habitual Local Tax and Non-Tax Revenue Defaulters
124 Individuals and Entities Habitually Defaulting on Over 10 Million Won in Arrears
The city of Ansan in Gyeonggi Province has released the names of 124 individuals and entities who have habitually and substantially defaulted on local taxes and non-tax revenue, each owing more than 10 million won.
The list includes those who, as of January 1 this year, have been in arrears for over one year and whose overdue amount exceeds 10 million won. The information disclosed covers the following: name, business name (corporate name, representative), age, type of business, address, type of tax in arrears, and the amount owed.
The total amount in arrears is 4.029 billion won. Of this, 3.977 billion won is unpaid local taxes (owed by 77 individuals and 44 corporations), while 52 million won is unpaid non-tax revenue (owed by 2 individuals and 1 corporation).
The corporation with the highest arrears is Company A, which owes 330 million won in local income tax. Among individuals, Person B has defaulted on as many as seven items, including local income tax, with total arrears reaching 320 million won.
The published list can be viewed on the Ansan City Hall website or on the Wetax platform. However, if a listed defaulter pays their overdue amount, their name will be immediately removed from the list in real time.
