Gyeonggi Province Holds 'Isolated and Reclusive Youth Support Project Forum' on the 18th
On November 18, Gyeonggi Province held the 'Gyeonggi Isolated and Reclusive Youth Support Project Forum' at Suwon Youth Hostel, where participants shared this year's project achievements and discussed future policy directions and challenges.
Since June, Gyeonggi Province has been supporting the daily recovery and independence of 500 isolated and reclusive youths by providing counseling and customized programs. This forum was organized as part of efforts to improve public awareness regarding isolated and reclusive youth.

Because it was a public initiative, I could trust it, and based on that trust, I participated in counseling, which was very helpful."
Oh Gwangseok, Director of the Future Lifelong Education Bureau of Gyeonggi Province, stated, "Based on the opinions shared today, we will strengthen the support system for isolated and reclusive youth," and promised, "Just as our project slogan 'Come Out, The World Is Worth Seeing' says, we will support young people to reconnect with society."

About 150 people attended the event, including Gyeonggi Provincial Assemblyman Kim Jaehun, isolated and reclusive youths, officials from central government ministries and local governments, and representatives from private organizations. After the forum, a sharing session was held where participating youths exchanged their thoughts, reflecting on the project's achievements from the perspective of those directly affected by isolation and reclusion.
