With diverse sights and foods, the festival provided visitors with a unique and enjoyable experience at the traditional market.
A key feature of this festival was the expanded lineup of interactive programs, allowing visitors to participate directly rather than simply observe. Activities such as "Making a Happy Family Cake" and the "Rice Cake Pounding Experience" received an enthusiastic response as families enjoyed these hands-on events together.
On the first day of the festival, November 14, the opening ceremony began at 6 p.m., followed by busking performances by local artists, clown mime acts, and singer performances, filling the market area with a festive atmosphere. On the second day, the festival focused on children with programs such as cheerful games and a big balloon show. The event concluded with exciting performances by the acoustic band Appletree and DJ Robin’s EDM stage.
Additionally, during the festival, the market merchants’ association operated night market stalls and a special discount market. There was a free giveaway event of Bajige Makgeolli (300ml) for night market visitors, and a gold bar prize draw for customers who made purchases of 10,000 won or more at the night market.
