The Artificial Graphite Application Technology Research Center of Gyeongbuk Technopark (President: Ha Inseong, Gyeongbuk TP) announced that it will participate in 'Carbon Korea 2025,' which will be held at Yangjae aT Center from November 19 to 21. The center plans to actively promote the main achievements of its R&D projects, advanced research equipment, and its support and collaboration with local companies, all of which have been pursued to advance the carbon industry in North Gyeongsang Province.
According to Gyeongbuk TP on November 18, this event is the only domestic exhibition in the field of carbon material convergence technology, hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and supported by North Gyeongsang Province and North Jeolla Special Self-Governing Province.
The event is expected to provide an opportunity to gain an overview of carbon material, convergence application components, advanced application technologies, and the latest trends from companies not only in Korea but also from Germany, China, Poland, and other countries.
At this exhibition, the Artificial Graphite Application Technology Research Center will set up a joint booth in the 'North Gyeongsang Province Pavilion' together with seven leading companies in the carbon industry sector.
The main promotional content will focus on the achievements of R&D projects led by the center in the fields of artificial graphite and nanocarbon, such as the 'Establishment of a High-Quality Artificial Graphite Testbed for Semiconductors and Secondary Batteries' project and the 'National Project for Commercialization Support of Innovative Carbon Industry Technologies.'
Ha Inseong, President of Gyeongbuk TP, stated, "Carbon materials are key foundational materials that determine the competitiveness of advanced industries such as future mobility, energy, and semiconductors, and their importance is growing even further." He added, "We will continue to promote the development of strategic technologies in the field of carbon materials and application components, and actively foster leading companies through business support, so that North Gyeongsang Province can establish itself as a hub of the carbon industry."
