This Major Expo focused on supporting students in the major elective system as they explore majors suited to their aptitudes and interests and plan for successful career paths. In particular, the AI-based career diagnosis system, planned and led by the Major Design Support Center, as well as the one-on-one consultation program with professors from each department, drew significant attention from students.

The expo went beyond simply providing information; it served as a valuable preparatory opportunity for students to adapt more smoothly to their departments after selecting their majors for the next academic year. Enhancing students' understanding of their chosen majors and facilitating early interactions with professors and department members are expected to have a positive impact on their adaptation to university life and their sense of belonging within their departments.

This Major Expo at Shinhan University is being recognized as an exemplary case of actively and systematically supporting students' career planning by leveraging AI technology, while also upholding the purpose of the major elective system. The university plans to institutionalize and regularly implement this program so that students can continue to benefit from it in the future.

Lee Hyun, Dean of Academic Affairs at Shinhan University, stated, "Since the major elective system is a program that opens up various possibilities for students, systematic career planning is as important as emotional support, such as helping students adapt to their departments." He added, "I hope this expo has provided students with an opportunity to proactively design their own career paths."
