Over 180 Experts from 10 Countries Gather
Sharing Advanced Manufacturing Technologies and Strengthening Global Collaboration

Yeongju City in North Gyeongsang Province is hosting the "2025 International Conference on Nano and Microjoining (NMJ 2025)," a world-renowned event in the field of nano and microjoining, at the Sunbi World complex until November 21.

This international conference is co-hosted by North Gyeongsang Province, Yeongju City, and the International Nano Microjoining Association (NMJ). More than 180 experts and stakeholders from industry and academia representing 10 countries, including Switzerland, Germany, Japan, China, the United States, and Canada, are participating.


This is the first time that an international academic conference in the field of nano and microjoining is being held in Korea.


Nano and microjoining technology is considered a core foundational technology for advanced manufacturing industries such as semiconductors, precision machinery, electronic components, energy, and future mobility. At this conference, global experts will gather to share the latest technological trends and discuss innovation strategies.


The program consists of an international technology forum, academia-industry collaboration programs, and expert presentation sessions, providing a platform for technological exchange and cooperation among various countries and institutions.


Through this international event, Yeongju City plans to introduce its advanced bearing national industrial complex to the global industry, solidify its cooperative networks with research institutes and companies worldwide, and strengthen its competitiveness as a technology-based industrial city.


Yoo Jungkeun, Acting Mayor of Yeongju City, stated, "As the first NMJ 2025 held in Korea, this event marks an important starting point for Yeongju to emerge as a hub for global discussions on advanced manufacturing technology. I hope participants will fully experience Yeongju's hospitality, natural beauty, and vision as a future industrial city."
